Feb. 29- Mar. 4

Here's the plan for next week:

French: Students should submit their JAP and their "projet de lecture" on Monday. They will present their project to the class. In addition, we will be working on reading comprehension and "les verbes pronominaux" throughout the week.


Math: We are finishing our unit on reading time. There will be an evaluation on reading time to the minute, 24 hour clock and the length of time (la durée) on Friday.

Science: We are finishing our lights and shadows unit. There will be a test on Friday so students should be bringing their duo tang home every day to review.


English: We will be finishing up with the activities to improve our writing and start our poetry unit.

Feb. 22- 26

Here's the plan for next week:

French: Students will be working on reading comprehension this week. In addition, they will be continuing to work on their JAP (journal d'activités physiques). They will also be working on their individual novel study project in French. This is due on February 29th, but can be submitted at any point.

Math: We are continuing to learn about reading time. There will be a small evaluation on reading time on Friday. A good way for students to practice is with flash cards. If they already have these cards, please have students bring them to school next week.

Science: We are continuing with our lights and shadows unit.

English: Students should submit their English stories on Monday. We will share our stories and look at strategies to best improve our writing (ex: paragraphs, punctuation etc.)

Feb. 17- 19

Here's the plan for next week:

French: Students will be working on reading comprehension this week. In addition, they will be continuing to work on their JAP (journal d'activités physiques). They will also be working on their individual novel study project in French. This is due at the end of the month, but can be submitted at any point.

Math: We are starting our unit of measure. This week we will focus on reading time.

Science: We are continuing with our lights and shadows unit.

English: Students will be working on their English stories.

Feb. 8- 10

Here's the plan for next week:

French: Students will be continuing to work on their JAP (journal d'activités physiques). They will also be working on their individual novel study project in French. This is due at the end of the month, but can be submitted at any point. Last, it is the week of  "le carnaval d'hiver" and mardi gras so there will be several fun activities to celebrate.

Math: Students will complete some fun activities using multiplication and division.

Science: We are continuing with our lights and shadows unit.

English: Students will be working on their English stories.
