Grade 5: June 21- 25

GRADE 5

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French: Students will be reading French fairy tale plays in small groups. They will also finish presenting their music projects.
A reminder that the reading program and English book report are both due on Monday.

Math: Students will finish reviewing all of the modules covered this year.

English: Students will be completing reading comprehension activities.

Religion: Students will finish their project about service, kindness, charity and helping others.

Grade 4: June 21- 25

GRADE 4

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French:  Students will be reading French fairy tale plays in small groups. They will also finish presenting their music projects.
There is NO reading program due on Monday. However, English book reports are due!

Math:  We will finish our unit on data analysis. Then we will do a bit of review of multiplication of large numbers.

English: Students will be completing reading comprehension activities.

Science: We will finish our unit on plant growth and changes.

Social Studies: Students will finish presenting their project about Alberta’s past.

Religion: Students will finish their project about service, kindness, charity and helping others.

Grade 5: June 14- 18

GRADE 5

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French: Students will present their research projects based on the play Une visite à Québec. In addition, they will present their music project as well as complete some grammar review.

Math: We will complete our unit on transformations. Students will have a formative evaluation on Tuesday. Then they will review of all of the modules.

English: Students will be reading short stories. We will also have a virtual author’s visit from Jacqueline Guest on Friday morning.

Religion: Students will be working on a project about service, kindness, charity and helping others.

Grade 4: June 14- 18

GRADE 4

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French:  Students will be reading short French plays in small groups. They will also be presenting their music projects and doing some grammar review.
A reminder that students’ reading programs are due on Monday.

Math:  We will start our new unit on data analysis.

English: Students will be reading short stories. We will also have a virtual author's visit from Jacqueline Guest on Friday morning.

Science: We will continue our unit on plant growth and changes.

Social Studies: Students will present their project about Alberta’s past. It is due on June 14^th.

Religion: Students will be working on a project about service, kindness, charity and helping others.

Grade 5: June 7- 11

GRADE 5

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French: Students will read a French play together called Une visite à Québec.

Math: We will continue our unit on transformations.

English: Students will read a play in small groups called Mystery Spot.

Religion: Students will continue learning about Mary.

Grade 4: June 7- 11

GRADE 4

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French:  Students’ comics are due on Thursday. In addition, they will continue to work on a research project on music genres. This is due on Friday.
A reminder that students’ reading programs are due on Monday.

Math:  We will continue our unit on geometry.

English: Students will be reading short plays in small groups.

Science: We will continue our unit on plant growth and changes.

Social Studies: Students will continue to work on the project about Alberta’s past. It is due on June 14^th.

Religion: Students will continue learning about Mary.
