Mar. 2- 6

Here is the plan for next week:

French: Students will learn about 'les verbes pronominaux' in the ‘passé composé’. There will be no evaluation on this.

French reading logs are due this Monday (March 2nd)!

In addition to the reading log, we have started a J.A.P. (journal d’activités physiques) for the month of February. Students will submit their log entries with their reading program. I am hoping that they can complete a total of 80 minutes of physical activity per week.

Math: We will continue with our unit on telling time. There will be an evaluation on Friday. Students should be practicing reading the time on an analog clock.


English: Students will be doing a novel study on The Wild Robot Escapes.

Social Studies
: Students will be learning about the natural resources of Alberta.


Science: Students will continue to work on a group project about Lights and Shadows. The project will be due on Friday.

Feb. 24- 28

Here is the plan for next week:

French: Students will review all of the verbs in the ‘passé composé’ learned so far. There will be a writing assignment due at the end of the week in lieu of an evaluation.

French reading logs are due this Monday (February 24th)!

In addition to the reading log, we have started a J.A.P. (journal d’activités physiques) for the month of February. Students will submit their log entries with their reading program. I am hoping that they can complete a total of 80 minutes of physical activity per week.

Math: We will complete our unit multiplication vs. division. There will be an evaluation on Tuesday. Then we will move on to telling time.


English: Students will be learning about paragraphing.

Social Studies
: Students will complete presentations of their project on a geographical region of Alberta.


Science: Students will continue to work on a group project about Lights and Shadows.

Feb. 18- 21

Here is the plan for next week:

French: Students will continue to learn about the ‘passé composé’ of the verbs that use the ‘auxiliaire ÊTRE’. There will be an evaluation on Thursday.

French reading logs are due this Tuesday (February 18th)!

In addition to the reading log, we have started a J.A.P. (journal d’activités physiques) for the month of February. Students will submit their log entries with their reading program. I am hoping that they can complete a total of 80 minutes of physical activity per week.

Math: We will complete our unit on division. We will also compare multiplication and division.


English: We will finish learning about root words. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday.

Social Studies
: Students will continue presentations of their project on a geographical region of Alberta.


Science: Students will be working on a group project about Lights and Shadows.

Feb. 10- 12

Here is the plan for next week:

French: Students will learn about the ‘passé composé’ of the verbs that use the ‘auxiliaire ÊTRE’.

French reading logs are due this Monday (February 10th)!

In addition to the reading log, we have started a J.A.P. (journal d’activités physiques) for the month of February. Each Monday students will submit their log entries. I am hoping that they can complete a total of 80 minutes of physical activity per week.

Math: We will continue our unit on division. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday of numbers up to 81 ÷ 9.


English: We will be learning about root words.

Social Studies
: Students will begin presentations of their project on a geographical region of Alberta.


Science: The Lights and Shadows unit test will be on Tuesday, February 11th.
