Nov. 16- 20

This week:

Math: We are continuing with addition and subtraction, with a focus on word problems (i.e. what words indicate that we should use addition vs. subtraction).

Science: Student's will have one final period in the computer lab to finish their decomposer projects. It will then be due on Wednesday, November 18th. In addition, students will be continuing their study of mold, biodegradable and non-biodegradable items, garbage in landfills, dangerous symbols and the R's of the environment. Don't forget that Wednesday is our wasteless lunch day!

French: Now that we have finished our verbs in ER, we will be moving on to learn about verbs in IR. Students will also be reading in small groups throughout the week and there will be an evaluation on the IR verbs on Friday. The study sheet will go out on Monday.
**Students should be finished their "projet d'écriture" for Monday, November 16th, but if they are stressed out or have any questions, please have them come talk to me on Monday and they can finish for another day.

English: We will be finishing up our presentations on the saints and start a "Wanted" poster project that supports their individual reading (silent reading).
