Oct. 10- 13

Here is the plan for next week:

French: We will be continuing to learn about common nouns this week, with a focus on the plural form, putting words in alphabetical order and looking up definitions in the dictionary. There will be an  evaluation on Friday.

In addition,  students are required to read out loud in French for 20 minutes a day, four times a week for the at home reading program. Reading logs from last week are due this TUESDAY (October 10th)!

Math: We will be continuing to look at numeration: classifying and organizing numbers, representing numbers with words or pictures etc. Students should be able to say the numbers from 1- 9999 in French. There will be a small evaluation on Wednesday.

English: We will be completing a writing assignment where students write a letter to someone about Calgary. In addition, we will begin our grammar unit. The first concept we will cover is on homophones.

Science: We are starting a new unit on Waste in Our World.

Religion: We are preparing for the upcoming liturgy of St. Luke's Feast Day. The liturgy will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 10:00 am in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend.
