French: This week students will be writing a text where they describe objects in the classroom that have come to life. The goal with this text is to focus on proper verb conjugation in the present tense.
In addition, students are required to read out loud in French for 20 minutes a day, four times a week for the at home reading program. Reading logs from last week are due this MONDAY (December 4th)!
Math: We will be continuing subtraction. Students should know their basic subtraction facts up to 18-9. They should also practice subtraction of two and three digit numbers (with borrowing).
English: Presentations of the saints project will continue this week. In addition, students will begin to write a Christmas story.
Social Studies: We are continuing to learn about the origins of Alberta. Students should be reviewing their notes in their red duo-tang as there will be an evaluation on Friday. They will get a study sheet on Monday.
Wednesday, December 6th is our next MSD/ Wasteless Wednesday. For more information on our wasteless lunch program, please read the blog post.
