Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students should
be starting log 7 of their French at-home reading program. This week, students
will learn about the fluidity of sentences and using transition words in our
writing.
Math: We will continue with our unit on
multiplication. We are also learning about division and how these operations
are related. Students should be practicing their multiplication facts up to 9 X
9. There will be an evaluation on multiplication strategies on Wednesday.
English: There will be a reading
comprehension evaluation on Tuesday. Students will continue to learn
about adjectives in our writing. We will also start to learn about paragraphing.
Science: We will continue our
unit on structures and construction.
Social Studies: We will continue
with our unit on Ukraine.
Religion: Students
will have an introduction to unit 4: Our Lenten Journey. They will read
about Lent in their textbooks, learn about the story of St. Patrick, and learn
an Irish blessing song.
