GRADE 4
Welcome to our week of online learning! Parents received an email before
the break regarding the schedule for our week of online learning. This schedule
is also posted to Google Classroom. At the beginning of each subject lesson, students
are to log on to the Google Meet link located on the homepage of the Google
Classroom (at the top, in the teal section). After instructions are given,
students can work on their own until the next subject’s lesson. I will be available
throughout the day to answer any questions they may have.

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will learn about the ER verbs in the ‘passé composé’. There
will be an evaluation next Monday, upon their return to class.
Math: We will start our unit on multiplication. Students should be
practicing their basic facts, working up to 9 X 9.
English: Students will begin a music research project. They will have at
least two weeks to work on this project, so it is not to be completed during the
week of online learning.
Science: We will start our unit on lights and shadows. Students received
a booklet to take home. Instructions will be given throughout the week.
Social Studies: We will continue to learn about the different geographic
elements of the Rocky Mountains. In addition, students received a map of
Alberta that they will color according to all the geographic regions of the
province. They should wait for instructions before completing this assignment.
Religion: Message from Mme Lora: Students will be learning about Epiphany.
They are to use the same Google Meet link as for the other subjects.
