GRADE 4
Here is what we will be covering in class next
week:
French: Students’ opinion letters are due on Monday. We
will be learning about the verbs ending in ER, as well as irregular verbs, in
the ‘imparfait’. There will be an evaluation on the ER verbs only
on Friday. A homework assignment on irregular verbs will follow.
A
reminder that students’ reading programs are due on Monday.
Math: We will continue with our unit on fractions.
English: We will continue with our unit on poetry. There will be an evaluation
on Tuesday on similes vs. metaphors.
Science: Students will continue their project where they invent and build a
complex machine.
Social Studies: Student’s natural resources project is due on Wednesday.
Then we will begin to learn about Alberta’s agriculture.
Religion: Students will finish working on the Religion project and begin
presentations mid-week.
