GRADE 4
Here is what we will be covering in class next
week:
French: Students will continue to learn about ‘la bande dessinée’. Any
student who has not yet submitted their assignments on ‘le future proche’ (8
sentences) or ‘le future simple’ (paragraph about careers), should submit in
class on Tuesday.
A reminder that students’ reading programs are due on Tuesday.
Math: Students will finish learning about addition and subtraction of
decimal numbers. There will be an evaluation on Friday. There is
also a math project where students create a receipt from a store or restaurant,
demonstrating addition and subtraction of decimal numbers. This is due on
Friday as well.
English: We will finish reading Belle of Batoche.
Science: We will continue our unit on plant growth and changes.
Social Studies: Students will present their agriculture posters.
Religion: Students will continue learning about Mary. In addition, anyone who
has yet to present their Religion project will do so throughout the week.
Please note that we will begin our Family Life unit towards the end of the week.
