GRADE 5
Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will be reviewing how to conjugate the verbs AVOIR and ÊTRE in
the present and past tenses. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday.
They will also be doing some journal writing.
Math: We will continue with unit 2 on whole numbers. Students are
learning how to represent 6-digit numbers in different ways.
English: Students will be reading short stories and responding to them in writing.
I will also be reading from Secret Signs by Jacqueline Guest.
Social Studies: Students will learn about the landforms and climate of Canada.
Religion: Students will be writing prayers.
