GRADE 5
Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will be reviewing how to conjugate verbs ending in ER in the
present tense (le présent) and past tense (le passé composé). There will be
an evaluation on Friday. The reading program for September is also due on Friday.
Math: We will continue with unit 2 on whole numbers. There will be
an evaluation on Tuesday.
English: Students will be writing an epilogue to Secret Signs. In
addition, they will be completing reading comprehension activities.
Social Studies: Students will continue to learn about the geography of Canada. There
will be an evaluation on Wednesday. Students will be required to
name the provinces, territories and capital cities of Canada.
Religion: Students will be learning about what helps us grow in Faith.
*Please note that in honour of
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, there will be no school on
Thursday.*
