GRADE 4
Here is what we will be covering in class next
week:
French: Students will learn about common nouns. They will also receive
book reports that are due at the end of the month.
A reminder that the French Reading
Program is due on MONDAY. Students should be reading out
loud for 20 minutes a day in French, four
times a week for a total of 80 minutes.
Math: We will continue with our unit on whole numbers. Students should
know their numbers up to 1000 in French.
English: Students will finish writing their epilogue to Secret Signs.
It is due on Wednesday. In addition, we will read short stories
together.
Science: We will finish learning about the importance that red worms play in
composting kitchen waste. There will be an evaluation on Thursday.
Students received a study guide on Friday.
Social Studies: Students will continue to learn about Alberta’s flag, coat of arms and
provincial flower.
Religion:
Students will continue to learn about how our Faith makes us one. In addition,
they will be learning about Thanksgiving and gratitude.
