Here is what we will be covering in class
next week:
French: Students will finish writing a descriptive piece to
show their knowledge and understanding of proper verb conjugation in the
present tense. They will imagine that the objects in the classroom have come
alive, and they will describe what is happening. This is due on Thursday.
A reminder that the French Reading
Program is due on MONDAY. Students should be reading out
loud for 20 minutes a day in French, four
times a week for a total of 80 minutes.
Math: We will complete fun activities involving addition and subtraction.
English: Students will finish writing their Christmas stories. The final
copy is due on Thursday.
Science: Students will present their project where they imagine an
environmental organization and how it can help to protect Earth.
Social Studies: Students will present their projects about a wild animal
of Alberta. Then we will start to learn about the Rocky Mountains.
Religion: Students will be learning about Advent,
week 3. In addition, students will learn about the Huron Carol.
