GRADE 4
Here is what we will be covering in class
next week:
French: Students will be writing a descriptive piece to show
their knowledge and understanding of proper verb conjugation in the present
tense. They will imagine that the objects in the classroom have come alive, and
they will describe what is happening.
A reminder that the French Reading
Program is due on MONDAY. Students should be reading out
loud for 20 minutes a day in French, four
times a week for a total of 80 minutes.
Math: We will finish our unit on addition vs. subtraction. There
will be an evaluation on Thursday.
English: Students will be learning about narrative writing. They will be
planning and writing Christmas stories.
Science: Students will imagine an environmental organization and how it
can help to protect Earth.
Social Studies: Students will complete research projects on a wild
animal of Alberta. The project is due on Friday.
Religion: Students will be learning about Advent,
week 2. In addition, students will learn about the Huron Carol.
