GRADE 4
Here is what we
will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will learn about the verbs AVOIR and ÊTRE in the ‘passé
composé’. There will be an evaluation on Friday. In addition,
students will write a review quiz on ER, IR and RE verbs in the ‘passé composé’
on Monday.
A reminder that reading programs and book
reports for January are due on February 7th. A new reading program
will start on Monday. Students will be required to read 50 minutes in French
and 50 minutes in English per week.
Math: We will continue learning about division. Students should be
practicing their basic division facts up to 49/ 7.
English: We will be learning about prefixes and suffixes.
Science: We are continuing with our unit on Lights and Shadows.
Social Studies: Students should be reviewing their notes on the Rocky
Mountains. There will be an evaluation on Tuesday. We will then start a project on the other geographic regions of Alberta.
Religion: Students will be learning about how to find quotations in the Bible.
