GRADE 4
Here is what we
will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will continue working on their comic strips. They
will also be completing group reading activities.
A reminder that reading programs are due
on Tuesday. Students are required to read 50 minutes in French and 50 minutes in
English per week.
Math: We will continue to learn about decimal numbers. There will
be a quiz on Wednesday.
English: We will continue our novel study of Belle of Batoche.
Science: Students will continue working on a project where they invent a
complex machine.
Social Studies: Students will be working on a history project where they
summarize 5 different events of Alberta’s past.
Religion: Students will
continue learning about Unit 5: Building the Kingdom of God. They will also
learn how to use gratitude journals at home to deepen their Faith in God.
A reminder that swimming lessons start on Wednesday! Please send your child to school with a bathing suit, towel and hair brush (if needed). Thank you!
