GRADE 4
Here is what we
will be covering in class next week:
French: The comic strips are due on Monday. Then we will
be completing large group reading activities.
A reminder that reading programs are due
on Monday. Students are required to read 50 minutes in French and 50 minutes in
English per week. Book reports are due on June 1st.
Math: We will finish learning about addition and subtraction of
decimal numbers. There will be a quiz on Thursday.
English: We will continue our novel study of Belle of Batoche.
Science: Students will finish working on a project where they invent a
complex machine. It is due on Thursday.
Social Studies: Students will continue to work on a history project
where they summarize 5 different events of Alberta’s past.
Religion: Students will
continue learning about Unit 5: Building the Kingdom of God. They will also
learn how to use gratitude journals at home to deepen their Faith in God.
A reminder that swimming lessons are on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday! Please send your child to school with a bathing suit,
towel and hairbrush (if needed). Thank you!
