Oct. 3- 6

Here’s the plan for next week:

French: This week students will study common nouns. We will look at the spelling and form (feminine, masculine, singular and plural) of a variety of nouns that are commonly used in French. There will be a dictée on Thursday and students will receive the study sheet on Monday.
**Students must also remember to read in French 20 minutes per day, 4 days a week for their reading program. Reading logs from last week are due on Monday. **

Math: We are continuing with our unit on numeration. Students will look at the different ways in which we classify numbers, such as in Venn diagrams. Students should be practicing their numbers in French up to 9999.

Religion: Thanksgiving: We will be reflecting on giving thanks to God for all that we have.

English: We have one more activity from unit 1 of the “And Who Are You?” textbook. Then we will look at homophones, synonyms and antonyms, which will be continued on to the following week.

Science: We will be starting our unit on "Waste in our World" where students will learn about our environment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
CCAT assessments will take place on October 24- 26. A letter will be sent home on Monday with more details.
Scholastic book orders are due on October 6th.
