Oct. 11- 14

Here’s the plan for next week:

French: This week students will continue to study common nouns. We will look at putting words in alphabetical order, looking words up in the dictionary and the plural form of words. There will be an evaluation on Friday.
**Students must also remember to read in French 20 minutes per day, 4 days a week for their reading program. Due to the holidays, reading logs from last week will be due on Tuesday. **

Math: We are continuing with our unit on numeration. During the week, students will write an evaluation on classifying numbers, such as in Venn diagrams. We will also be starting addition this week, looking at estimating sums.

Religion: Feast of St. Luke: the grade 4 classes will be preparing for the upcoming Liturgy. If any parents are interested in helping out with the bulletin board, please let Mme Elaine or Mme Allyson know.

English: We are continuing to learn about homophones, synonyms and antonyms.

Science: We will be continuing our unit on "Waste in our World" where students will learn about our environment.
**This week, we will present our next environmental initiative to the students called MSD. You will receive an email next week with more detail.**
