May 14- 17

French: This week students will learn about the different elements involved in comic strips.

In addition, students are required to read out loud in French for a total of 50 minutes per week. They are also to read in English for an additional 50 minutes per week. Reading logs from last week are due this MONDAY (May 14th)!

Math
: Students will write their evaluation on fractions on Tuesday. Then we will look at the relationship between fractions and decimal numbers.

English: Students have a poetry project that is due on Monday. Then, we will begin a novel study on Belle of Batoche.

Science: We will be continuing our unit on simple machines.

Religion: Students should be memorizing the prayers of the rosary.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Students will have phys. Ed outside for the remainder of the year, weather permitting. Therefore, students should come to school prepared for this (i.e., hat, jacket, sunscreen etc.)
