May 28- June 1st

French: This week students will be working on a Social Studies project about the history of Alberta.

In addition, students are required to read out loud in French for a total of 50 minutes per week. They are also to read in English for an additional 50 minutes per week. Reading logs from last week are due this MONDAY (May 28th)!

Math
: We will continue to learn about decimal numbers, including addition and subtraction.

English: We will continue our novel study on Belle of Batoche.

Social Studies: Students will create a pamphlet of information regarding the history of Alberta.

Science: Students will be working on a project where they invent a complex machine.



Wednesday, May 30th is our next MSD/ Wasteless Wednesday. For more information on our wasteless lunch program, please read the blog post.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
-Students have their final swimming lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week.

-Students will have phys. Ed outside for the remainder of the year, weather permitting. Therefore, students should come to school prepared for this (i.e., hat, jacket, sunscreen etc.)
