GRADE 4
Here is what we will be covering in class next
week:
French: Students will review all of the verbs in the ‘passé composé’. In
lieu of a test, students will be given a final assignment. This will be due
on Monday, March 8th.
A
reminder that students’ reading programs and book reports are due on
Monday.
Math: We will continue our unit on telling time. There will be an evaluation
on Monday based on lessons 1 and 2 in the textbook.
English: Students will learn about graphic organizers. In addition, they will
work on a project called ‘The Wanted Poster’. The task is to create a wanted
poster for a villain character in a book that students have read. This is based
on personal books that the students have read rather than a novel we have
studied in class.
Science: We will begin a new unit on simple machines.
Social Studies: We will be learning about the natural resources of Alberta.
Religion: Students will continue to work on their research project related to
Black History Month.
