Grade 4: Nov. 8- 10

GRADE 4

Here is what we will be covering in class next week:

French: Students will continue learning about verbs ending in ER in the present tense. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday.
A reminder that the French Reading Program is due on MONDAY. Students should be reading out loud for 20 minutes a day in Frenchfour times a week for a total of 80 minutes.

Math:  We will continue with our unit on addition. Students should know their basic addition facts up to the sum of 10, 000.

English: Students will finish an assignment where they demonstrate proper use of punctuation. It is due on Tuesday. Then we will move on to sentence structure.

Science: Students will learn to develop a flow chart for a consumer product that indicates the source materials, final product, its use, and method of disposal.

Social Studies: There is an evaluation on Tuesday regarding Alberta’s origins. Students have a study guide.

Religion: Students will continue to learn about the following theme: Service- Remembrance Day and Friendships. They will also learn the Apostle’s Creed.
