Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: A reminder
that the French Reading Program is
due on MONDAY.
There is an evaluation on Monday on IR verbs in the present
tense. Then students will learn how to conjugate the verb ALLER in the present
tense. There will be an evaluation on Friday.
Math: We will
continue our unit on addition. Students should be reviewing their addition
facts.
English: We will finish
learning about types of sentences. Then students will learn about homophones,
synonyms and antonyms.
Science: We will finish part
2 of Waste in Our World. There will be an evaluation on Tuesday.
Study guides were sent home last week.
Social Studies: Students will
continue to learn about the different theories of the origins of Alberta. They
will also receive a study guide for an upcoming evaluation.
Religion: Students will review unit 1 of Growing in Faith: Called to be One. Students will also continue to explore the Bible. They will learn about the birth of John the Baptist as it appears in the Gospel of St. Luke.
REMINDER: Thursday’s theme for
Spirit Day is mismatched.
