Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students should
be on log 6 of their French at-home reading program. This week, students will learn
about the gender of words (masculine and feminine). Students will also be
learning about word choice with their writing.
Math: We will finish our unit on addition and subtraction. There will be an evaluation on Tuesday. Then we will start multiplication.
English: Students will continue
reading comprehension activities, as well as learn about Black History Month.
Science: We will finish our
unit on sound. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday. Students
received a study guide last week.
Social Studies: Students will work
on their final research about Peru.
Religion: Students
will continue unit 3: Born of the Spirit. Students will also continue to learn
about the liturgical season of ordinary time. They will practice the song
“There are 7 Sacraments”. Additionally, they will discuss Lenten promises, participate
in the ash burning ceremony with piety, and listen to the story of St. Valentine.
