Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students will
continue their French reading program at home. The final writing
assignment on developing ideas is due on Monday.
Additionally, book reports are due on the same day. Then we will
start to learn about structure and organization in writing.
Math: Students will
start to learn about number patterns.
English: We will finish our
unit on punctuation. There will be an evaluation on Wednesday.
Then we will start to learn about sentence structure. Book reports are
due on Monday.
Science: We will continue
with our unit on rocks and minerals.
Social Studies: Students will
continue to study India.
Religion: Students will continue with unit 1: Our Catholic Community. They will also reflect on the difference between the meaning of “the” church and “a” church. They will show their understanding with a drawing and decorate/ build a church-shaped donation box out of cardboard.
Suggest family
activity in preparation for Remembrance Day on November 11th: Walk

REMINDER: There is no school on November 1st.
When students return on November 2nd, we will be completing a series
of activities for Student Wellness Day.
