Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: A reminder
that the French
Reading Program is due on MONDAY. Students
should be reading out loud for 20 minutes a
day in French, four times a week for a total of 80 minutes.
Students will learn about common
nouns. They will also complete some activities for Thanksgiving.
Math: We
will continue with number sense. Students will learn about comparing numbers
and organizing them into diagrams.
English: We
will continue our novel study on Flying Solo. Additionally,
students will be reading other short texts and responding to them in their
exercise books.
Science: We
will continue our unit on Waste in our World.
Social
Studies: Students will
continue learning about the geography of Alberta.
Religion: Students
will continue to learn about unit 1: Called to be One. They will also practice
reflections, songs, and prayers for Thanksgiving.
