Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students
should have completed log 4 of their French at-home reading program. This week,
students will be learning about punctuation. They will also have some New Year’s
activities to complete.
Math: We will
continue with our unit on addition. We will also look at subtraction
strategies.
English: Students will start
a “Music Around the World” research project.
Science: We will continue
our unit on sound and hearing.
Social Studies: Students will
continue to learn about Peru.
Religion: Students will continue unit 2: The Road to
Bethlehem. Students will also learn about the last week of the Christmas
season in the church. They will compare their homes at Christmas with the
stable where Jesus was born. In addition, they will learn about Epiphany and
the hymn “We Three Kings”.
