Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students
should be completing log 4 of their French at-home reading program. This week,
students will be practicing some Christmas-themed reader’s theatre. There will
be other Christmas activities as well.
Math: We will
continue with our unit on addition. Students should be practicing their basic
addition facts.
English: Students will read
their Christmas stories to each other and complete some fun activities before
the holidays.
Science: We will continue
our unit on sound and hearing.
Social Studies: Students will continue
to learn about Peru.
Religion: Students will continue unit 2: The Road to
Bethlehem. Students will also learn about the fourth week of Advent. In
addition, they will learn about the name of Jesus. There will be a drawing
activity in their visual journals. Last, they will find and compare the stories
of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John about the birth of Jesus.
REMINDER: Book reports for
English and French are due on Wednesday.
