Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: A reminder that the French
Reading Program is due on MONDAY.
Students will write another descriptive text. This time, they will focus on conjugating
verbs in the present tense. Additionally, they will continue to review all
verbs taught thus far: AVOIR, ÊTRE, ER, IR and ALLER. There will be a pretest
(not for marks) on Monday and an evaluation on Friday.
Math: We will continue with our unit on subtraction.
English: Students will be writing Christmas stories.
Science: Students will finish a project on the life cycle of a product. It is due
on Friday.
Social Studies: We will continue to study the physical geography of the Rocky
Mountains.
Religion: Students will continue unit 2: A New Beginning. Students will also learn about Advent. In addition, they will learn about Advent candles, the Huron Carol, and the home of Joseph and Mary in Nazareth.
