Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: A reminder that the French
Reading Program is due on MONDAY.
Students will be practicing some
Christmas-themed reader’s theatre. There will be other Christmas activities as
well.
Math: We will finish with our unit on addition and subtraction. There
will be a quiz on Tuesday on addition and subtraction. Students will
receive a review booklet on Monday.
English: Students will read their Christmas stories to each other and
complete some fun activities before the holidays.
Science: Students will finish their group project where they invent an
environmental organization. It is due before the holidays.
Social Studies: We will continue to study the physical geography of the Rocky
Mountains.
Religion: Students will
continue unit 2: A New Beginning. Students will also learn about the fourth
week of Advent. In addition, they will learn about the name of Jesus. There
will be a drawing activity in their visual journals. Last, they will find and
compare the accounts of the four evangelists about the birth of Jesus.
REMINDER: Book reports
for English and French are due on Wednesday.
