Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students should be on log 9 of their French
at-home reading program. This week, students are using writing conventions to
edit their fractured fairy tales. The good copy is due on Friday.
Math: Students will finish their unit on measuring.
There will be an evaluation on Wednesday. Then we will start a
new unit on data analysis. Students have also been working on a math project
where they design a garden and calculate the perimeter for each plant box. This
should be done by the end of the week.
English: We are starting a novel study on The Tale of
Despereaux.
Science: Students will continue to learn about animal life
cycles.
Social
Studies: We will continue with our unit
on Tunisia. There will be a quiz on Thursday. Students will
receive a study guide on Monday.
Religion: Students will continue unit 5: The Promise of
the Holy Spirit. They will also learn about the Rosary with six accompanying
prayers, and twenty mysteries.
