Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students should be on log 9 of their French at-home reading
program. This week, students are writing their own fractured fairy tales. They
should emphasize writing conventions (using a dictionary/ Bescherelle to edit
their work, re-read their work, use the word wall etc.) when composing their
stories.
Math: Students will continue to learn about measuring perimeter and
area.
English: We are finishing our unit on fairy tales. Students are using StoryJumper
to create fractured fairy tales (different from their French stories). This
is due on Friday.
Science: Students will continue to learn about animal life cycles.
Social Studies: We will continue with our unit on Tunisia.
Religion: Students will continue unit 5: The Promise of the
Holy Spirit. They will also learn about Mary, mothers, and women in the Bible. Additionally,
students will be reciting the Hail Mary in English and French. There is a
Marian Liturgy on Thursday at 10:00 am. Parents are welcome to attend.
