Here is what we will be covering in class next week:
French: Students should complete log 9 of their French
at-home reading program by Thursday. This week, students are continuing to
learn about vocabulary regarding camping. Additionally, they will learn to
conjugate the verbs AVOIR and ÊTRE in the present tense.
Math: Students will finish the unit on data
analysis.
English: We will continue the novel study on The
Tale of Despereaux.
Science: Students will finish the unit on animal life
cycles. There will be an evaluation on Friday. Students will
receive a study guide on Tuesday. They are also working on an animal research
project.
Social
Studies: Presentations of the Tunisia
project will be on Tuesday. Then, students will start to research a country of
their choice.
Religion: Students will continue unit 5: The Promise of the Holy Spirit. They will
also continue to learn about the Rosary with six accompanying prayers, and they
will locate the twenty mysteries in the Bible. A reminder that our school is
hosting the Sacramental Liturgy on Friday at 1:30 pm in the gym.
NOTE: An
email was sent out on Friday regarding parent volunteers needed for our field
trip to the landfill on Thursday. So far, I have not received any responses. We
will have to cancel the field trip if we don’t have enough volunteers.
